ThimbleCare help

Using your own account as a teen participant

Teen participants can use their own participant accounts. The account is for their authorised support records; it is separate from a worker's business account.

Get started with the right person

Check the worker's invitation and follow Accepting an invitation. Read the terms and privacy information in a way you understand. Ask a trusted adult or your worker to explain something unclear before making a choice.

Where a parent, guardian or nominee needs to act, their authority and permissions must be established. Family membership alone does not give someone permission to read every record or sign for you. See Supporters and nominees.

Keep your sign-in private

Use your own email and sign-in code. Do not give a worker or supporter your code to let them help. Their access should use their own authorised account. Sign out on a shared device and protect downloaded documents.

Make your own review choices

Read agreements and timesheets before signing or approving. Ask for an explanation or raise a concern if something looks wrong. A worker inviting you does not mean that you have agreed to all their terms.

Get help safely

You can ask your worker about the support arrangement and contact ThimbleCare about account access or app problems. Do not include unnecessary private care details in a support request. If someone should no longer have access, use the permissions/appointment controls offered or contact support about the correct next step.

The app is not an emergency service. Use your existing emergency and support arrangements if you need immediate help.
